What's Going On With Meg

4/2/00 - Ok so my writings have been few and far between lately.  It's a busy time I guess - soon to get even busier.  Once this week is over things are crazy until May 1st!  So I should be enjoying this "relaxing" time.  But things haven't quite been that laid back lately either.  There has been a major lack of updates.  Since the beginning of March I've been into following "The 10th Kingdom", a mini series that ran on NBC and a new actor Scott Cohen who was one of the stars in it.  So if anyone actually reads the 'What's New' page then you've probably noticed most of my updates have been falling under that topic.  On other things I've been just hanging out with my friends, doing the occasional bit of school work, and just enjoying what is the last few months of my high school life.  The week following this one I go to FL for 3 days on my senior class trip, I come back for a few days and then I'm off on a 10 day trip to England, Scotland, and Ireland over spring break.  I'll be tired out by then I'm sure and who knows how long it will take me to catch up after that being that I'm behind now with things and I haven't gone anywhere yet.  Most people are ready for the school year to end, and I can't say that I'm any different.  But I think I'm realizing that when this year is over so is all of this forever, there is no going back.  I'll be in college next year and things will be a lot different plus I won't be seeing all my friends like I do now.  Once we all leave each other at graduation there is an extremely good chance that we will never be all together again.  But I'm sure I'll rant more about that as that time gets even closer.  I'm focused on my little half month of travel... most people are probably used to things like that but not me...  I've been on ONE real vacation trip in my life, an overnight visit to Williamsburg, VA with my parents when I was about 10 years old.  Other than that I've barely been away from home for too long and overnight excursions with friends doesn't count when it's only one state away... I'm taking 3 days states away followed by 10 in a whole other country ( countries in my case actually ).  I don't think I will mind it, but it will definitely be a new experience and one I will more than likely never forget.  I think I just broke my record for longest post, at least I'm updating something around here.  And thanks to any of you who actually come and read this post all the way to this point.  But I should be going now, gotta leave something to write about another time soon right?   Until next time!
