Reviews & Reconition
My site has been lucky enough to be reviewed
and written about by some cool places. This page was created to share that
with all of you. The list goes from newest to oldest. I couldn't have done it
without you :)
Sweet Horizons Interview - Spring 2001 - I was happy to be the first person interviewed for this website. It basically consists of 15 questions and answers talking about my website, my interests, and my life in general. Please click here to read the interview!
Philadelphia Inquirer Article - 8/13/00 Sunday Edition - Neighbors Section - I was very honored and excited about having a full newspaper article written about me! Making the front page of its section, I couldn't believe such a big deal was made just because of my site. Click here to read the whole article, complete with the pictures that were printed with it!
A Lotta Reviews - Featured
2/24/00 - This site is great! Meg puts a lot of work into maintaining and designing her
site, and it shows. The index page is neat and organized. Plus, while I've seen many sites
with great layouts, they lack content. Meg's site not only has a great layout- it has
content. It has everything from her interests to causes she supports! Plus, there's the
"Button Board," the "Time Warp" to the 1980s, and the ever-so popular
"Net Nerds!" And those are just a few of the great things you'll find at Meg's
Place.

Writer's Inspirations Mag - Featured 9/3/99 - I was asked to do an interview for this online mailing list / newsletter. Thanks to them for wanting me to be a part of their first issue. Please click here to read the whole interview.
Average Teen Review - Katie:
I personally love everything about Meg's Place. Meg was one of the first teens to buy her
own domain. But unlike many teen domains today, Meg keeps hers appropriate for all ages.
There is a lot you can do there. In fact, if you have your webpage, this is a must see.
You can adopt her infamous "net nerds", try winning her award, or check out one
of the many webrings she's joined. But even if you don't have a page, you can go through
her fan pages, or join one of her many causes. Megsplace is a page that will not only
brighten your day, but it's a page you can show your little brother. Rating:

Jenn: Good page, lots of stuff to do. The layout is pretty simple, but still good.

PepMail Newsletter - Featured Site Week of 5/14/99 - I was happy to be in the first issue. Rating: ***** out of ***** This is a really cool web site that is nicely designed. There are a lot of things to do on it. It will keep you very busy! You can adopt CyberPets. You can also join quite a few clubs. There is also a nice HTML help section. This web site is very organized and well done. I highly recommend that you visit it. This site will be of interest to all ages!
Sound Off 2000 - I am very honored that my site was picked to be the first to be reviewed here. This review was very detailed, so I have chosen to place it on a separate page. Please click here to read it.

WebSideStory's Pick of the Week - Week of 6/1/98 - The kids are alright... Young Megan runs her own web design company. She likes Oasis and The Beatles (she knows the roots, man). Looks like she's got a good grip on the web and a very cool site. Oh yeah, she's only 15. Kids these days...Megan even started her own web phenomenon the Net Nerds. They're little orphan globs of color that need good net homes. Are you ready to be a parent? To find out what I'm talking about, go check out Meg's Place. She's also very connected in the web community as her page will show. Just one of the many fine sites out there in the World 1000 "Homepages" category.
Family Circle / PC World's Computers Made Easy Magazine - Fall 1998 Issue - Printed in the article "Look Mommy, I made a Web Site" by Stan Sinberg - Page 56 - .... Meg's Place (www.megsplace.com) comes courtesy of Megan Miller, a 16-year-old who also runs her own Web designing company, Webfomation. Meg has pages devoted to Cyberpets, Causes (peace, animals and free speech) and Adopt-a-Net-Nerd (cute little critters she designed).
