Meg's Place - Site Statement
 
June 13th was my 18th birthday, making me what most people consider an "adult" - that kind of has to make you think... about life, about things in general, and lately I've been thinking a lot about this website too.  I think it's time for a change and before I get a bunch of emails begging me not to delete my site, or take away certain things, etc... don't worry for the most part that is not what I mean by a change. 

I just mean that this site was originally created over 3 years ago and despite change over these past few years, there are some aspects of my site that accurately reflect me and some that do not.  This is why I think that some changes need to be made.  As I graduate from High School and move onto college my life will change and for my site to truly show who I am I need to have it grow as I do.  I'm not saying I don't still want to have adequate sections and things for "children" and "teens" to enjoy, but I also want more on my site that I personally would want to see on a site and enjoy for myself. 

Now don't worry I'm not heading away from computers and the internet, with college I will only head into it more probably since Multimedia is my major.  But I do have a life of my own ( shocking isn't it? ) and as much as I love working with websites, especially this one, I do have many other things going on in my life and sometimes there just isn't time to fairly spend on it all.  I believe I will always be heavily involved with computers, the internet, and such in my life but I also know that there will be many other things that make up who I am as well.  

I do put a lot of hard work into my website and even though I don't always have the time to make the updates or changes that I want to, I do still want to make this a place that just about everyone can enjoy.  So in posting this message I just thought it was about time to say something and I wanted everyone to be aware that there should be some changes coming soon.  If anyone has any suggestions they'd like to make about this please feel free to email me at any time or use the Suggestion Box to let me know.
